Police Cruisers

The Department maintains a fleet of marked Ford Police Interceptor Utility vehicles and several unmarked units. Since 2020, all vehicles in our Patrol Fleet are Hybrid vehicles that help reduce fuel costs.

Cruisers are equipped with a Mobile Data Terminal (MDT) which is a laptop computer linked to the Department's network. The MDTs use software that is able to research License, Registration, and Warrant information as well as access police reports and communicate car to car via text.

Each cruiser also carries a portable automatic external defibrillator (AED) unit donated by the Dwinell Charitable Trust and a "Cold Fire" fire extinguisher donated by the Hanover Police Union (NEPBA 27).
