Water Distribution Project Informational Meeting
RE: Water Distribution Project Informational Meeting
Meeting: May 6th 2025, 4:30pm, (Corner of Sargent St. and Maple Street -Rain or Shine)
Dear Resident,
We will be holding a project informational meeting with the residents, Town Project staff, the engineers, WP, and the contractor, L &M, to explain the project schedule and what that means for the residents. There have been questions on logistics with regards to parking, road closures, access to resident homes, school bus stops, hours of operation, mail, garbage, recycling deliveries or pick-ups. We will be addressing these concerns at the meeting.
We want to let you know that most of those services will not be interrupted. For times when there is a proposed road closure on your street, due to mainline installation ,we will try and work with you for special accommodations, but are asking that from 7am -5pm you park in a town parking area or find another place to park close by to assure that you can get in and out while the mainline is being installed during the day. We will cover this in more detail at the meeting. This mostly has impacts to residents on Sargent St. in July and Downing St. at times in June and Maple in May. Town hall will have your addresses on file so you can pick up a parking pass for the duration of the impacted days so you will not need to go daily to receive your free parking pass. We are trying to keep the project page up to date with plans, schedules, notices, letters, traffic control plans, etc. The QR code below will take you to the project page. https://hanovernh.org/794/Capital-Water-Distribution-Replacement-R. If you have questions do not hesitate to contact us. For Newsflash project updates- sign up on the front page of the Town website at How do I… then select Notices and then select the water distribution project. You will then receive texts and emails with updates.
Thank you and hope to see you at the meeting.
Christina B. Hall, P.E., Town of Hanover PW, Deputy Director.
