Curbside recycling pickups may be affected on the following holidays observed by Casella:
- New Year's Day
- Memorial Day
- Independence Day
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas Day
If your pickup falls on a holiday, there will be a one-day delay in service. All subsequent pickups that week will also be delayed by one day.
In 2024, this will affect pickups during the weeks of New Year's Day and Independence Day.
- New Year's Day, January 1st
- Pickups scheduled for Monday, January 1st will take place Tuesday, January 2nd.
- Pickups scheduled for Tuesday, January 2nd will take place Wednesday, January 3rd.
- Pickups scheduled for Wednesday, January 3rd will take place Thursday, January 4th.
- Pickups scheduled for Thursday, January 4th will take place Friday, January 5th.
- Pickups scheduled for Friday, January 5th will take place Saturday, January 6th.
- Independence Day, July 4th
- Pickups scheduled for Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, July 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, will not be affected.
- Pickups scheduled for Thursday, July 4th will take place Friday, July 5th.
- Pickups scheduled for Friday, July 5th will take place Saturday, July 6th.
