Join us for the 30th Annual Old Fashioned 4th of July Celebration in Downtown Hanover and the Dartmouth Green! This event is also the finale celebration for our 250 America festivities in Hanover.
Parade
Our hometown parade will step off at 10 AM at Hanover High School and will finish on the Dartmouth Green.
Festivities on the Green
Our parade will be followed by live music by the Tricksters Band and the Hanover Barbershop Harmony Society, classic games on the Green, touch-a-truck activities, BBQ provided by Hanover Rotary, horse-drawn wagon rides, and the annual Lou's pie-eating contest! Our festivities kick off after the parade and opening ceremony and run until 1:00 PM.
Lou's Pie Eating Contest
The annual Lou's Pie Eating Contest will take place at the Arts and Crafts tent at 12:30 sharp. There will be a child contest (12 and under) and an adult (13 and up) contest. Register for the contest at the arts and crafts tent at the 4th of July! Click here to review contest rules.
