Overview

Duties & Responsibilities

The Advisory Board of Assessors hears and decides property tax abatement requests. Their decisions are forwarded to and affirmed by the Selectboard. Each member is elected at Town meeting and serves a three year term. The Selectboard also appoints one Selectboard representative and one alternate to serve on the Advisory Board.
