Addressing climate change requires action not just on the national and international level, but here in our own homes and communities.
Building that corps of Upper Valley local climate leaders is the goal of the Climate Change Leadership Academy (2CLA), a program run by the Upper Valley Adaptation Workgroup and Vital Communities.
Running September 2022 through January 2023, 2CLA helps participants transform their passion and concern about the climate into meaningful, tangible action. The 2022 Class aims to bring together a diverse group of 25 Upper Valley citizens to learn about existing efforts to understand and address the causes and effects of climate change in our region and discover their own ability to lead and support equitable, community-based solutions that truly make a difference. Applications will be accepted through August 15.
Sustainable Hanover has a number of graduates from this program in its rank and we hope you'll consider applying or spreading the word.
