Mission
The Public Works Department provides a wide range of vital community services to the residents we serve including: constructing and maintaining the roads, bridges, intersections, sidewalks and parking lots, managing the Recycling Program, delivering safe drinking water, treating wastewater, maintaining Town Buildings and Grounds, maintaining parks and recreation fields, planting and maintaining street trees and town gardens, managing Town cemeteries, providing Engineering design and construction services to Town projects and the Planning and Zoning Departments, maintaining the Town fleet and providing custodial services.
